What is so special about the 3GS?

The iPhone 3GS is much faster, in fact it is double the speed, with video recording, a powerful 3MB camera, an Internet compass – and overall a higher capacity of 32GB.

Will 3GS be available Pay As You Go?

We really value our Pay As You Go customers, but the iPhone 3GS is a data-oriented device, so having a Pay As You Go package would work out expensive for our customers. We want to provide a positive experience for our customers and, especially as the iPhone 3GS is so addictive, this type of package wouldn’t be very practical. We don’t provide a standalone device without data as it would work out as 20DHR per MB. To protect customers and give them freedom to use lots of data, we provide a standalone device, prepaid, with a free 6 month data package. This is a much better experience for our customer, and they can upgrade at their convenience.

Are you running any special offers for Gitex on the 3GS?

The iPhone 3GS is launched after Gitex, so during Gitex there is are tempting offers for iPhone 3G users. For post paid customers you can enjoy unlimited data for one year, that’s 10GB per month. For pre paid customers, there are great discounts: the iPhone 8GB is 2200DHR (at a discount of 200DHR). And the iPhone 16GB is 2500DHR (at a discount of 275DHR). Will you be having a trade-in offer for existing iPhone 3G users?

The current subscribers will be able to purchase an iPhone 3GS at a very competitive price, and enjoy the same package that they are currently, so they don’t need to change to a new package. However, we won’t be offering a trade-in on existing phones.

Can I sign up for the newly unveiled iPhone plans with my existing SIM card and number?

Yes when it is launched on the 27th you can sign up to a plan that suits you, and transfer your existing number and SIM card over to your new iPhone 3GS, no problem.
